Latvijas Zaļais elektrons
A/s Latvijas Zaļais elektrons (LZE) is an organisation that deals with the waste management of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). LZE has been established by the industry associations.
The key functions of LZE are as follows:
- Organize and manage WEEE;
- Ensure the fulfillment of the requirements set by the legislation of Latvia with regard to the management, including the collection, recycling, regeneration and storage.
Since 23rd May, 2005, LZE is a member of the EU and EEI waist management organization WEEE FORUM.
